3 New Paintings

I’ve been busy the last week or so and have completed 3 new Plein Air pieces. The first was in Barnaby River, beside the river where a beautiful scorching red maple was the star of the shown. I worked in Acrylics for that one…a medium I don’t usually use, but would like to become more proficient with.

The second, was painted in a friend’s yard…on a hill overlooking the mighty Miramichi river, a short walk just up the road from where I live. The star of the show in this painting is an old Manitoba Maple tree with a swing hanging from one of its branches. A great place to relax and enjoy the wonderful view.

The third painting done a couple of days ago at Middle Island also has a small view of the river that surrounds it…but the star of the show is a gleaming yellow leafed tree that stood in front of the restaurant there..and above it a red maple growing behind that. The colours of an astonishing Autumn were on display on that western end of the island.

Here are the photos (click to enlarge)

Choosing a durable, reusable water bottle is an easy way to make a positive impact on the environment. One good bottle can replace hundreds of disposable plastic ones every year. High-quality bottles are built to last, helping reduce waste and protect the planet. For anyone who cares about sustainability, a stylish, long-lasting bottle is a simple way to make eco-friendly choices without giving up on design or performance.
